UVM Extension and Vermont Department of Forests, Parks and Recreation are excited to announce the launch of ourVTwoods.org, a new comprehensive digital resource about Vermont’s forests! The website serves as a portal for partner coordination and a hub for information on forest health, stewardship, and the Vermont forest economy. We invite you to be part of the online ourVTwoods.org community and share the news that ourVTwoods.org is live.

What makes ourVTwoods.org different?

The website has four audience pages: Landowner, Professional, Municipality, and Educator, and 12 (and growing) topic pages. It also includes a statewide calendar of events featuring a variety of local, regional and statewide events, a directory of professional organizations dedicated to caring for Vermont’s woods, a resource hub, and a share tool that allows professionals to connect clients to the website from the field.  Visitors access the information on ourVTwoods.org by identifying themselves; as a landowner, professional, municipality or educator, or by categorizing their interest by topic. In this way they find information most relevant to their needs.
